Four more suspects named in drug roundup

Four more suspects have been identified and are wanted as a result of an 18-month Delta Drug Task Force undercover narcotics investigation.

Two weeks ago, authorities issued approximately 20 warrants and arrested individuals from Baker, Zachary, areas of East Baton Rouge and West Feliciana parishes.

Zachary Police Chief John Herty said that after the review of some tapes, which included transactions between undercover agents and suspects, more arrests would be made.

The four suspects named and wanted by authorities are:

•Alvin Johnson Jr., 31, formerly of Zachary, is currently incarcerated at Phelps Correctional Center near DeQuincy but faces charges on four counts of distribution of cocaine and one count of marijuana distribution in East Baton Rouge

•Sheila Whitmore, 46, 5314 Rollins Road, Zachary, distribution of Ecstasy

•Willie Develon Brown, 42, 4324 Stewart Street, Zachary, distribution of Ecstasy

•Jonathan Wright, 26, Baker, three counts of distribution of cocaine, one count of Ecstasy distribution.
