The Breaux Bridge trio accused of stealing televisions from the Eunice Walmart has turned into a quartet.

On June 11, Eunice police arrested three Breaux Bridge men following a chase that began at the Eunice Walmart parking lot and ended when their truck crashed into a tree line on Interstate 10 near Scott.

Anthony Potier, 18, Javien Demouchet, 28, and Mervin Bossier, 18, were charged with attempting to steal four flat-screen televisions from the Eunice Walmart.

One of the men was arrested at the scene and the other two were identified and arrested following investigation.

Eunice Police reported the three men were believed to be involved in a nearly identical incident that took place at the Eunice Walmart on June 6.

Subsequent investigation led Eunice Police to Marquita Demouchet, 27, of Breaux Bridge, whom they say was the driver of the vehicle in the June 6 thefts.

Marquita Demouchet was arrested and charged with principle to felony theft.

Marquita Demouchet and Javien Demouchet are first cousins, police report.

The investigation is ongoing, and more arrests are pending, Eunice Police said.
