St. Martinville – Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Paul Dauphine, the former Eula “Catan” Blanchard, 69, at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church with Msgr. Douglas Courville officiating. Interment followed at St. Michael’s Cemetery.

A Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

A native and resident of St. Martinville, Mrs. Dauphine passed away at 10:50 a.m. on Wednesday April 20, 2011, at her residence.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Dauphine of Parks; sons, Morris “Yogi” Dauphine and wife Kerry of Parks, Kenneth Dauphine and wife Kimberly of Parks, and Tony Dauphine of Parks; daughters, Paulette Buford and husband David of Catahoula, Tina Laviolette and husband Carroll of Parks, and Donna Talley of Parks; brother, D. D. “NaNa” Blanchard of Catahoula; sister, Shirley Champagne of Parks, 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Paul Dauphine; parents, Anthony and Bernadette Bourque Blanchard; and brothers, Virgil Blanchard Sr., Raymond Blanchard, Ronald Blanchard Sr., Nolis Blanchard, Nelson Blanchard and Anthony Blanchard Jr.

Pallbearers were members of the family.
