Educator

LAFAYETTE – Services for long-time educator George Hebert will be Wednesday. He died May 6 at age 80.

He was a guidance counselor at Lafayette High before becoming first principal at Woodvale Primary. He was later principal at L.J. Alleman Elementary and then a School Board supervisor.

Survivors include his wife Thelma, a son and two daughters.

Arrangements are by Delhomme.

Radiologist

SHREVEPORT – Memorial services will be June 3 for radiologist Dr. Justin Wolfson. He died May 2 at age 90.

He was past chairman of the Department of Radiology at LSU-Shreveport Medical School and professor of pediatric radiology.

Survivors include long-time companion Lou and four children.
