Rachael Lynn Fruge of Eunice and Blaine Joseph Habetz of Lafayette exchanged wedding vows on July 25 at sunset on Makena Surf Beach of Wailea in Maui, Hawaii. Reverend William Armstrong officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of JoAnn and Donald Fruge of Eunice. She is a graduate of Eunice High School and LSU at Eunice. She is currently employed as chief financial officer of an oil and gas firm of Lafayette.

The groom is the son of Brenda and Albert Habetz of Lafayette. He is a graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School and the University of Lafayette. He is currently employed as Director of Rapid Retail Solutions of Lafayette.

Maui was also the couple’s honeymoon destination.

The couple have made their home in Lafayette.
