Sanee’ LeShelle Boykins, the daughter of Sandra Reed and Ollie Reed of Mamou, is working to pursue her modeling career with Abercrombie and Fitch/Calvin Klein. She traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, for a casting show and placed in the top 50 out of about 1,000 hopefuls. She later went to Baton Rouge, where she was selected to be a model for Abercrombie and Fitch. Her photos will be placed in Abercrombie and Fitch stores across the country. Boykins is the granddaughter of Rose Boykins, Sam and Odelia Boykins, Helen Reed and the late Earl Reed. She was born in Mamou, and she lived in Ville Platte before moving to Monroe. She attended Ouchita High School before completing high school in Mamou. She then worked as a nursing assistant at St. Francis Nursing Home.
