Mr. and Mrs. Dale Boudreaux of Breaux Bridge are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Blair Elizabeth, to Brady Thomas Bernard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon T. Bernard of Sunset. The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at 7 p.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Beatrice Melancon and the late Simon Melancon of Breaux Bridge and Mrs. Rochelle Boudreaux and the late Voorhies Boudreaux of St. Martinville. Blair is a graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations. She is currently employed as the Development Director of St. Genevieve Catholic School. The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Bernard of Scott, Mrs. Marie Daigle Mouton of Cankton and the late Russell Francis Daigle of Carencro. Brady is a graduate of Acadiana High School and is currently employed by SLEMCO. After the wedding, the couple will reside in Sunset.
