The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Duchamp Opera House. The performance will be by Child of God, a local Christian band, with members Bobby Theriot on vocals, Stephan Arnold on guitar, Joni Bienvenu on keyboard, Chet Broussard on bass and Kirk Borel on drums.
The concert is free and open to all ages, however a donation of at least $10 is welcomed and encouraged.
Tickets are available in advance at Shamrock Office Supply or the Duchamp Opera House or at the door on the night of the concert.
Child of God albums will be available for sale at the concert.
Proceeds from ticket and album sales will be donated to the New Start Center, which has offered shelter to abused women and their children since July 2000.
