Although both teams ended District 5-4A play with losses, both will likely ended up among the top 20 teams in the LHSAA power rankings, with Cecilia slightly ahead of Breaux Bridge.
The Bulldogs dropped back-to-back league games to Teurlings Catholic last week while The Bridge fell to St. Thomas More in its final two district games. Cecilia finished up regular season play with a 12-11 non-district win over Westminster Christian Academy for an 18-9, 4-6 final tally, while Breaux Bridge was 16-12, 5-5.
St. Martinville wrapped up a dismal season with losses to Northside to finish winless in league play.
