According to a police, a 2011 Hyundai was pulled over on Interstate 10 east-bound.
Troopers made contact with the driver, 31-year-old Dinh Tri Do of Fort Worth, Texas, and passenger, 35-year-old Kristine Thi Nguyen of Arlington, Texas. Consent to search the vehicle was obtained and approximately 30.7 pounds of hydroponic marijuana was discovered inside the vehicle. The marijuana has an approximate street value of $128,000.
Both occupants were charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
Do was also charged with improper lane usage. They were booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail.
