Mr. and Mrs. Jerry “Doggay” Berard, nee Barbara Brasseaux, were married on Aug. 18, 1981. They recently had their marriage blessed by Deacon Hebert at St. Bernard Church in Breaux Bridge. Their children are Diona Berard and Kevin, Jerry and Nanette Barker. They have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. (Submitted)
