St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 2 p.m., Friday, February 23, 2024, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Nelson Benedict Dugas, 71, who passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Golden Greek Care and Rehab facility.
A visitation took place at the funeral home in St. Martinville on Friday, February 23, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Fr. Jason Vidrine officiated at the Funeral Mass.
Interment followed at St. Michael Mausoleum.
He is survived by his son, Eric Dugas; daughter, Emily Dugas; his grandchildren, Hayden Dugas and Henry Dugas; and his sister, Dolly Dugas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Elaine Castille Dugas.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
