What archival records in Louisiana and France legitimate this attribution for our parish?
Our citizens are very badly taught in their French culture, locally and nationally.
France when it came into the new world had three provinces:
[1.] Canada
[2.] Acadia
[3.] Kingdom of Louisiana
Many of you have very bad language skills, so you cannot read original archival documents in Medieval Latin, Spanish, Dutch, French, Portuguese or English. Furthermore, you have a very bad historical timeline and an extremely faulty historical understanding of the socil-economic conditions of Louisiana from A.D. 1519 to the present.
There is still no competently written 'great' history of Louisiana. All we possess are third-rate historical accounts and specialized monographs on isolated, insignificant events.

According to comments by Foco and Mayor Charles Langlinais, the drainage correction should have been incorporated into the $10 million expense already incurred by the city of Broussard for work related to the extension, but was overlooked.
