It could've been a total disaster. There was even a tornado watch up for a while.
Instead, the 2008 Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival will probably set a record for a Saturday crowd when all the tallies are in. And the weather turned beautiful for the Sunday finale.
The big event Sunday was the etouffee cooking contest, which was won by the team of Luke Huval and Craig Olivier. Second place was the Carriker family team of Lafayette. And in third place, Adam Latiolais and Richard Guidry. There were 28 teams entered this year -- probably another record.

Quite a few assumptions have been made concerning this post. First we don't resell the content to anyone. I imagine that our standard disclaimer means we might be able to, but as the in house technical developer, I know that we don't. Second, you assume that all of our contributor are trying to make money off their articles. This is not really true. Most of them write because they have something to share and our platform/microphone is larger than their own personal blogs.
