Marie Lou ‘Malou’ Boyer

Breaux Bridge – Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Marie Lou “Malou” Boyer, 75, who passed away on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008 at her residence.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1.
Fr. Chanh Nguyen officiated at the funeral Mass.
Survivors include three brothers, Hilton Boyer and his wife Mabel of Lafayette, Alton Boyer and his wife Verna of Breaux Bridge, and Irvin Boyer and his wife Sylvia of Eunice; one sister, Lou Anna Sanders and her husband Raymond of Breaux Bridge; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alcee and Emma Courville Boyer; and a brother, Clifford Boyer.
A rosary was recited at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
Pallbearers were Joseph Sanders, Keith Boyer, Jimmie Boyer, Billy Boyer, Dickie Boyer and Donald Boyer.
Honorary pallbearers were Irvin Boyer Jr. and Kenneth John Boyer.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
