Landry: ‘Vindictiveness’ – Hebert: ‘Stop whining’

The political struggle between Troy Hebert and Jeff Landry isn’t over, even though Hebert won their hard-fought struggle for a seat in the Louisiana Senate last year.
Hebert allegedly blocked Landry’s appointment to the state Board of Ethics and Landry is crying foul.
Thousands fill Breaux Bridge
Drawn by bargains, good weather, music and eats
BREAUX BRIDGE – Beautiful fall-like weather and the promise of bargains, along with the usual Saturday mix of music and cuisine, drew thousands to the main streets, side streets and Veterans Memorial Park during the Citywide Garage Sale and Outdoor Flea Market last Saturday.

MOBILE DISASTER RECOVERY CENTER OPENING MONDAY
IN ST. MARTIN PARISH
ST. MARTINVILLE -- FEMA will be opening a Mobile Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in St. Martin Parish on Monday, Oct. 6, at 9 a.m. for those who suffered hurricane damage. The DRC will be open from 9 am to 6 p.m. for five days or until further notice at the following location:

Judge Landry reelected
Proposal to lease hospital passes overwhelmingly
District Judge Lori Landry defeated challenger Lucretia P. Burton and voters in the Breaux Bridge area overwhelmingly approved the lease of St. Martin Hospital to Lafayette General Medical Center in Saturday's election.
