So far only 2 St. Martinville officials have challengers
Qualifying continues through Friday for March 27 election

St. Martinville – With a day and a half left to sign up, only two of the incumbents on the City Council have challengers thus far.
Dennis Paul Williams in District 3 will go against Charles Dumas and District 5's Arthur Champ has former Councilman Romanus "Ike" Robertson and Sandra "Sue Mel" Batiste lined up against him.
Mayor Thomas Nelson and Councilman Mike Fuselier of District 1, Craig Prosper of District 2, and Ronald Charles of District 4 have all qualified and have no opponents as of yet.
The election will be Saturday, March 27.
