Lelia Claire J. Latiolais

Catahoula – Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at St. Rita Catholic Church for Lelia Claire Johnson Latiolais, 57, who passed away on Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at her residence.
Interment followed at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.
Fr. Richard Fabre officiated at the funeral service.
Lelia loved cooking and baking, as well as gardening, and always enjoyed going on trips to the casino. She was always willing to help anyone in need – she will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Lee J. Latiolais Jr. of Catahoula; two sons, Scottie L. Latiolais and his companion Sonya Borel, and her children, Alyssa and Bailey, and Eugene L. Latiolais and his wife Cari, all of St. Martinville; her mother, Bronislawa “Danny” Johnson, of Catahoula; and two brothers, Harry Johnson of Catahoula, and Wilson “Tee” Johnson of New Iberia.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Johnson.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
