Dalton James Hypolite
Breaux Bridge – Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday Jan. 30, 2010, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Dalton James Hypolite, 57, who passed away on Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at University Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
Fr. James Fallon, Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Church, will conduct the services. Scriptures will be read by Ruby Celestine and Betty John.
Dalton enjoyed singing, dancing, listening to music and barbecuing with his family and friends.
Survivors include his brothers, Melvin Hypolite of Lafayette and Clarence Hypolite Sr. of Breaux Bridge; his sisters, Alma Alexander (Joseph III), Mary Henry, Rita Demouchet (Wilton Sr.), Deborah Batiste (Bobby) and Deidra Hypolite, all of Breaux Bridge, Delores Joseph (Shelton Sr.) of Cecilia and Deena Bernard (Anthony) of Parks; a host of nieces and nephews, many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Elsie Potier Hypolite; his brothers, David and Harold Hypolite; his sister, Madonna Hypolite Demouchet; his brother-in-law, Vincent Demouchet; his niece, Nicole Demouchet; his nephews, Dwyne Demouchet and Clarence Hypolite Jr.; and a great nephew, Wylan Batiste.
A rosary will be recited at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
