The Louisiana State Police Troop I have identified the motorists suspected of running down three juveniles, killing two and critically injuring the third, as 32 year old Jeremy J. Abraham of Breaux Bridge.
City officials are asking trick-or-treaters to stay away from the part of town where two school children were killed and a third seriously injured by a motorist Thursday morning. A candlelight vigil has been announced for 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Judge Carl Williams Park on West Bridge Street.

Two children confirmed dead, one in critical condition

An early morning accident killed two children and seriously injured another this morning. According to LSP spokesman Jared Sandifer, three children were walking to school on Martin Street when they were struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound.
