Convicted child molester tries suicide, fails
A 57-year-old man just convicted on multiple counts of aggravated incest stood up in court and sliced at his throat and wrists with a sharp object here Thursday afternoon. Sources say the wounds are not life-threatening.

Unofficial sources are saying a defendant in trial at the 16th Judicial District Courthouse here slit his own throat after being found guilty early this afternoon. The person was taken away by ambulance.
